Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records, relating to the petitioner's brother detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 29.04.2024 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings Memo Cr.M.P.No.19/Goonda/2024 C1, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's brother namely Arun @ Arunkumar, S/o.Shreedharan @ Kodali Sreedharan, aged 37 years before this Hon'ble High Court and set the petitioner's brother at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's brother detained at Viyyur High Security Prison, Thirssur District, Kerala State.

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for

the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3955, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 20.06.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
