This Criminal Original Petition has filed to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.289 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent for the offence under section 4 [1] [aa] of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

2. When the matter is taken up today the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that charge sheet has already been filed before concerned Magistrate and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3. In such view of the matter, quashing of the First Information Report does not arise.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side], this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 11.07.2022 vrc To
