The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to provide police protection while carrying fishing in the Palamedu Chinna Eri alias Palamedu Periya Eri, Palamedu, Namakkal District during the period of licence from 01.01.2012 to 31.12.2016 and also to consider his representation dated 23.10.2015.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents had produced the detailed report sent by the second respondent to the Revenue Divisional Officer wherein a suggestion has been made to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
