This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 30.12.2014 under appropriate penal provisions of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is represented that the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police and on the said complaint, the petition enquiry is pending.

4. Hence, the respondent police is directed to conduct petition enquiry and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
