This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in crime No.75 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Edayur Police Station, Thiruvarur District 2.

The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the first respondent / police submitted that after completing investigation in crime No.75 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent, charge sheet has been filed before the Magistrate concerned. As such, the prayer sought for in this criminal original petition has become infructuous.
