PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to furnish the copy of the complaint given by the 3rd respondent dated 23.07.2021. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Purushothaman.

For Respondents : Mr.A.Damodharan, Government Advocate(Crl.side) for R1 & R2

ORDER

This petition has been filed to furnish the copy of the complaint given by the 3rd respondent on 23.07.2021.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the 3rd respondent, who is the father of the petitioner, said to have given a complaint against the petitioner under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007. For which, the petitioner received call from the 2nd respondent and appeared before them. Even after repeated request, the 2nd respondent has not furnished the copy of the complaint to the petitioner. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited prayer sought for in the petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to furnish the copy of the complaint given by the 3rd respondent dated 23.07.2021 to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
