PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2020 to rectify the mistake made during UDR Scheme For Petitioner : Mr P.Krishnan For Respondents : Mr.Mani Gopi, Govt. Advocate

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 21.07.2020, wherein, the petitioner has sought for rectification of the mistake in the revenue records that took place during the UDR Scheme.

2. Mr. Mani Gopi, learned Govt. Advocate appearing on behalf of the 1st and 2nd respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent has already called the parties for an enquiry on 20.11.2020 at 11 a.m. The learned counsel submitted that the 2nd respondent will conduct the enquiry and submit a report before the 1st respondent and thereafter the 1st respondent will pass orders in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 2nd respondent has already https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

called the parties for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct the enquiry by giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner and the 3rd respondent and shall submit a report before the 1st respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The 1st respondent, on receipt of the report from the 2nd respondent, shall pass orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
