Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, praying to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court made in W.P.No.14020 of 2007 dated 12.01.2018.

The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.14020 of 2007 dated 12.01.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Standing Counsels appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, it is represented by both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent that the violated unauthorised portion has already been demolished and that the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondents herein.

In view of the above submissions made by both the parties, we are of the view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this contempt petition. Hence, the contempt petition is closed. The second respondent is directed to remove the lock and seal in respect of the premises of petitioner's shop situated at No.T23A, 7th Avenue, Besant Nagar with an immediate effect. No costs.
