Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2017 seeking to re-transfer the name of the petitioner in respect of the electricity service connections No. a)0310063534 b) 031002955 c) 0310063196 d)0310063195 and e)0310062570 existing on the property comprised in Survey No.394 situated at Ganapathy Village, Coimbatore Town within a stipulated time.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to pass appropriate orders on his representation dated 30.10.2017, seeking to re-transfer the name of the petitioner in respect of the electricity service connections No. a)0310063534 b) 031002955 c) 0310063196 d) 0310063195 and e)0310062570, existing on the property comprised in Survey No.394 situated at Ganapathy Village, Coimbatore Town.

2. After notice, the respondents 1 to 3 are represented through their counsel and the fourth respondent is also represented through his counsel.

3. The learned standing counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that if the petitioner approaches the third respondent with relevant documents, the request of the petitioner will be considered on merits.

4. Considering the above stated facts and circumstance, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
