(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) Mr.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with necessary instructions to enable a final disposal of this matter. Hence, by consent of both sides, final order is passed in this Writ Petition.
2. The prayer in this Writ Petition is for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2026 seeking pre-mature release of the petitioner's husband Mr.Senthilkumar, S/o.Selvaraj, now confined in the Central Prison, Cuddalore.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor accedes to the receipt of representation.
4. Hence, there is a direction to R2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2026 and pass orders in line with the extant Rules, within a period of eight (8) weeks from today and communicate the same to the convict and his family.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed as above.
