Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent herein to pass appropriate orders on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2005 for no objection certificate to running a Xerox shop in the premises of the Arakkonam Taluk Office compound the fourth respondent herein.

The petitioner was running a Xerox shop in the premises of Taluk Office, Arakkonam, Vellore District. Because of nonissuance of no objection certificate by the first respondent, the petitioner has been evicted from his place of business. De hors the eviction, the representation given by the petitioner seeking no objection from the first respondent dated 30.12.2005 is said to be pending with the first respondent without any further orders, the petitioner seeks a Mandamus for disposal of his representation.
2.The eviction of the petitioner has also been confirmed by this Court in W.P.No.5634 of 2016 by dismissing the writ petition. Without going into the merits of the case, there will be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 30.12.2005 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to send a copy of his representation dated 30.12.2005 along with subsequent representations made by the petitioner and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
