ORDER

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that in C.C.No.412 of 2014 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, No.1 Tambaram, Chennai, the petitioners are arrayed as accused having committed offences under Sections 498 (A), 324, 506 (ii) of IPC r/w 4 of TNPHW Act.

2. He submitted that the case was registered on the basis of the complaint given by Mrs.T. Vijayalakshmi, who is the wife of the first petitioner. He submitted now the parties namely, first petitioner and the defacto complainant, namely, Mrs.T.Vijayalakshmi settled the matter between themselves by compromise and the defacto complainant also filed affidavit to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the effect that she received all those seethana articles and has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.412 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Tambaram, Chennai.

3. The said Mrs.T. Vijayalakshmi also appeared before this Court and represented by her learned counsel, Mr.M.Rajavelu and she was enquired and she admitted that she filed an affidavit before this Court and she has settled her dispute itself with the first petitioner and received all the seethana articles and she has no objection for quashing the case.

4. Considering the nature of the charges and the fact that the defacto complainant has settled the dispute itself with the first petitioner and as this case being a matrimonial matter, the petition is allowed and quashed.
