ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue appropriate direction to the 1st respondent police to transfer the investigation from the 2nd respondent to a diligent crime investigation team or for a speedy investigation of the case in Crime No.192 of 2022 dated 17.05.2022 and to file a final report within the time to be prescribed by this Court. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.192 of 2022 dated 17.05.2022, no final report is filed till date.

3.Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
