Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 transfer the cases registered against the petitioners in Crime No.6 of 2014 on the file of the Sub Inspector of Police, Pudupattinam Police Station, Nagapattinam District to Central Bureau of Investigation the 7th Respondent herein or C.B.C.I.D Police for detail enquiry to hold enquiry against the Respondents 4 to 6 and take appropriate action.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 transfer the cases registered against the petitioners in Crime No.6 of 2014 on the file of Sub Inspector of Police, Pudupattinam Police Station, Nagapattinam District to Central Bureau of Investigation the 7th Respondent herein or C.B.C.I.D Police for detail enquiry to hold enquiry against the Respondents 4 to 6 and take appropriate action.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioners have been acquitted on 25.06.2018 in STC.No.11218 of 2014 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sirkalai.

3. In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
