This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.129 of 2014. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent has filed an affidavit before the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur stating that the complaint was not given by him against the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that though the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has registered a case in the above said crime number on 17.01.2014, no final report is filed till date. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of one month. 5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and to file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
