O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to record the Memorandum of Compromise and consequently to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1 of 2011 pending before the Principal Sessions Court (Designated Court under PPIDEF Act) at Pondicherry.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that this petition has been filed seeking to record the Memorandum of Compromise entered into by the petitioners with the depositors and to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1 of 2011. He would further submit that the depositors have filed W.P.No.4722 of 2018 to implement the Scheme and the petitioners in this petition are arrayed as the respondents in the said writ petition. Hence, this Court may permit the petitioners to raise all the issues before the writ Court.

3.In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this criminal original petition is closed and the petitioners are permitted to raise all the issues before the Writ Court including the relief sought for in this criminal original petition.

4.This criminal original petition is accordingly closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition, if any, is closed.
