O R D E R
The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records in Crime No. 85 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.
2. It is submitted that, pending Criminal Original Petition, the petitioner and the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant have amicably resolved the dispute between themselves and to that effect, they have also filed a Memorandum of Settlement dated 30.06.2017. As per Clause 10 of the said Memorandum of Settlement, the de-facto complainant had expressed that she has no objection of having FIR to be quashed.
3. In view of the Clause 10 of the Memorandum of Settlement dated 30.06.2017, the proceedings in Crime No. 85 of 2017 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, CCB-I, Chennai District is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
Consequently, the Lookout Circular issued in connection with Crime No. 85 of 2017 shall stand lapsed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The Memorandum of Settlement, dated 30.06.2017 shall form part of the order.
