O R D E R

The matter was heard through "Video Conference". 2.This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for direction, to direct the respondent to conduct an investigation on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 03.07.2020.

3.Heard Mr.Sathya Murthy, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mrs.M.Prabhavathi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4.Today, when the petition has come up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police on instructions, would submit that the respondent police herein, did not receive any complaint dated 03.07.2020 from the petitioner. 5.In view of the same, since no complaint has been received from the petitioner by the respondent police, this Court is not in a position to give a positive direction in favour of the petitioner, to direct the respondent police to conduct an investigation on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 03.07.2020. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint before the respondent police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
