ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records relating to C.C.No.237 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Villupuram and quash the same.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Without any base, the case has been registered for the offences under Sections 138 & 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act r/w Section 200 of Criminal Procedure Code and Section 420 I.P.C., as against the petitioners. Hence he prayed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.237 of 2011.

It is seen from the complaint that there are specific allegations as against the petitioners, and trial has to be conducted as such this Court cannot quash the entire proceedings in the above case.

In view of the above discussion, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.237 of 2011 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Villupuram. 5.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
