Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records of the 2nd respondent, pertaining to the order made in CPT.No.33/2021 dated 30.07.2021 in detaining the detenu under the Tamilnadu Act 14/1982 as a Goondas and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu, namely Guna @ Gunaseelan son of Mani who is detained at the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.HEMALATHA, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in CPT.No.33/2021, dated 30.07.2021, detaining her husband as "DRUG OFFENDER" under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.5077, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 28.10.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
