A.No.2536 of 2022 in O.P.No.482 of 2018 KRISHNAN RAMASAMY.J., This Application is filed for grant of extension of time to execute the security bond in O.P.No.482 of 2018.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant/petitioner would submit that this Court vide order dated 16.12.2021 allowed the Original Petition No.482 of 2018, for letters of administration Will dated 18.05.2001. Further, he submitted that the copy of the order was made ready only on 31.03.2022 and he received the copy of the order on the same day i.e., 31.03.2022 and then only the applicant came to know about the direction of this Court to execute a security bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- in favour of the Assistant Registrar (O.S.II), High Court. Thereafter, due to Covid-19 lockdown, the applicant filed the memo for security bond on 14.06.2022, which was returned by the office of this Court, stating that it has not been filed within the prescribed time limit. 3. Considering the facts and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the Application, this Court is inclined to allow the application.

4. Accordingly, this Application stands allowed with the direction to the applicant/petitioner to execute the security bond on or before 29.07.2022.
