This petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondent police to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 30.04.2014. It is stated in the petition that one Satheesh took the petitioner to Gokulam Chit Finance Company and obtained signature in the cheque and also the other documents under the pretext that he would arrange for loans and subsequently he failed to arrange for loan and also failed to return the documents belonging to the petitioner and when the petitioner demanded return of the documents, blank signed cheques and other papers, the said Satheesh threatened the petitioner. given a complaint to the Vishnu Kanchi Police Station and was issued C.S.R.No.172 of 2014. Thereafter, no action has been taken and hence, this petition is filed.

It is seen from the typed-set of papers that Sri Gokulam Chit Funds issued a notice dated 30.05.2014 in reply to the petitioner's letter dated 23.05.2014 and also the legal notice by the petitioner dated 13.05.2014 wherein they have stated that the petitioner came personally and deposited the documents as security for the repayment of the chit amount paid to Satheesh and later the said Satheesh did not repay the chit and hence, Gokulam Chit is taking steps to bring the petitioner's property for sale.
