C O M M O N O R D E R (Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam,J.) These Review Applications have been instituted, seeking review of the common order of this Court dated 10.07.2018.

2. Learned counsel for the Applicants would submit that service benefits are to be extended to the Review Applicants, including promotions, revision of pay, etc.

3. Re-adjudication of merits in a review proceedings is impermissible. The scope of Review Application cannot be expanded for the purpose of adjudication of grounds on merits. Even non consideration of certain grounds raised on merits would not provide scope for maintaining review application and only in the event of error apparent, Court may entertain review application and therefore, this Court does not find any error apparent, warranting exercise of powers of review jurisdiction.

4. Learned Government Advocate brought to the notice of this Court that issues raised are no more res integra and the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India confirmed the orders passed by this Court in Special Leave Petition (Civil) Diary No.5529 of 2019 dated 01.04.2019.

Based on the judgment of the Apex Court, Division Bench of this Court also allowed Writ Appeals filed by the State in a batch of cases reported in 2026:MHC:348. In this backdrop, there is no acceptable ground or error apparent pointed out by the applicants for entertaining these review Applications.

Hence, the present Review Applications stand dismissed. No costs.
