Lakshimi Narayana Perumal, Vinayagar & Mariamman Temples, situated at Inam Agaram, Vepanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District - 621 117, within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

Today a status report has been filed by the 2nd respondent namely the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious & Charitable 1/3
Endowment Department, Thiruchirapalli wherein the relevant paragraphs are extracted below for ready reference: "6. It is submitted that the State Level Heritage Screening Committee in their meeting dated 27.11.2019 had permitted the following works in connection with the Thiruppani work of the suit temple:- S.

It is further submitted that the second respondent herein had instructed the concerned Division HR&CE Inspector of this department to give a letter to prepare estimate for Thiruppani works on the basis of clearance issued by the State Level Heritage Committee. The Assistant Engineer, Trichy of this department is also instructed to prepare estimate. The hereditary trustee of the suit temple/petitioner herein is also requested to send necessary proposal for sanction along with the estimate.
8. It is submitted that the suit temple is a nonlisted temple. Hence, the Assistant Commissioner, HR&CE Department, Ariyalur is the immediate supervising administrative officer of the suit temple. Hence, he has also been instructed to take necessary follow up work along with the Hereditary trustee of the suit temple.
9. For the foregoing submissions, it is submitted that sincere and effective steps are taken by this respondent Department in the above matter."

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner also states that this arrangement made by the 2nd respondent, are to his satisfaction. Particular reference is drawn to the fact that the 2nd respondent has instructed that necessary works are to be taken along with the hereditary trustee of the temple.
3. Hence, no further orders are required in the writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. This Court places its deep appreciation to Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader for having facilitated the report of this nature being filed by the 2nd respondent.
