Seeking quashment of the final show cause notice in F.SRO/NCTE/2010/28467 dated 05/05/2011, issued by the first respondent, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prayer of the petitioner to treat the educational qualification of B.E. Production Engineering (Sandwich) Course, awarded by P.S.G College of Technology, Coimbatore as equivalent to Mechanical Engineering Course for the purpose of employment in Public Services, has become nullity, in view of the Resolution of the 57th Meeting of the Equivalence Committee. In support of his submission, he has also produced a copy of the said Resolution dated 27.12.2017 before this Court.
3. In view of the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
