O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the entire retirement benefits payable to the petitioner in the light of his representation dated 26.03.2019. 2.Heard the arguments advanced on either side. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as Office Assistant from 21.02.1984 and retired from service on 30.06.2015, however, his retirement benefits have not yet been settled. In this regard, the petitioner made representation dated 26.03.2019 to the respondents, however, the same has not yet been considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2019 and to pass appropriate orders within a stipulated time frame. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible.
