Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st Respondent to take the petitioner appeal on file, which was filed for fencing stone in and around four corners of his Property and dispose the same.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner purchased the property in S.F.No.208/5A, CS No.852/2/1, admeasuring an extent of 1560 sq.ft situated at Embalam Village, Commune Panchayat, Nettappakkam, Puducherry State. To avoid complications with the neighbour land owners, the petitioner decided to survey the land and to fix boundaries. Hence, the petitioner submitted application before the 2nd respondent surveyor to survey his land. Subsequently, after due notice to all the parties concerned, the surveyor has surveyed the land. Being dissatisfied with the survey, the petitioner filed appeal before the 1st respondent on 04.02.2026. Since no action has been taken on the said appeal, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. In reply, learned Government's Counsel submitted that the petitioner's appeal would be disposed of within a period of four weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel for the respondent and also perused the materials available
on record.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 04.02.2026 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
