The petition is to quash the final report in Spl.S.C.No.13 of 2021 pending on the file of the learned Special Court for SC/ST cases at Villupuram for the alleged offences under Sections 294 (b), 323, 324, 506(2) of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 (1) (r), 3(1)(s), 3(1) (w) (i) and 3(2) (va) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent reported that nearly eight witnesses have already been examined out of eleven witnesses by the prosecution and the case is now posted for examination by the Investigation Officer.

3. In view of the advanced stage of the trial, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. However, the petitioners are at liberty to raise all their contentions before the trial Court. 2/4

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
