Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.234/2017 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the Learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Trial of Bomb Blast Court (FAC), Coimbatore in S.C.No.190/2016 enlarge him on bail and pending disposal of the CRL A.234/2017 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.234/2017 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.G.KARTHIKEYAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.V.M.R.RAJENTRAN Advocate on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Order of the Court was made by NOOTY.

RAMAMOHANA RAO,J The petitioner was found guilty of committing the offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code after a full fledged trial and he has been sentenced to undergo life imprisonment with a fine of Rs.5,000/-, for causing the death of a lady brutally by attacking her with a hammer on her right chest; dashing her head against the wall; smothering her using a pillow; and strangling her. Challenging the conviction and sentence, the petitioner has come forward with the appeal.

2. Pending appeal, the petitioner has filed the above petition, seeking suspension of sentence.

3. Heard both.

4. For the conduct held established after a full fledged trial by the prosecution and also considering the gravity of the offence, we see no justifiable reason to take any sympathetic view in the matter.
