Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the pensionary benefits of the petitioner including, Gratuity, Surrendered Earned Leave Salary, Commutation with interest of 12% per annum from the date of his retirement till the date of realization within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "directing the respondents to release the pensionary benefits of the petitioner including, Gratuity, Surrendered Earned Leave Salary, Commutation with interest of 12% per annum from the date of his retirement till the date of realization ".

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. In similar circumstances, Writ Petitions filed by similarly placed employees seeking pensionary benefits were allowed and the said order was confirmed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos.645 and 686 of 2025, dated 25.03.2025. Since the issues raised in the present Writ Petition are squarely covered by the directions issued by the Division Bench of this Court,

the respondents shall comply with the directions issued in W.A.Nos.645 and 686 of 2025, dated 25.03.2025, on or before 07.07.2026 and report compliance before this Court on 13.07.2026.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
