Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 - 3 to ascertain the fact of missing and get back the petitioner's 17 documents mentioned in the representations dated 20.12.2016, 24.12.2016 & 03.01.2017 from the 4th respondent herein or issue a non traceable certificate to the petitioner.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to ascertain the fact of missing and to get back the petitioner's 17 documents mentioned in the representations dated 20.12.2016, 24.12.2016 & 03.01.2017 from the 4th respondent herein or issue a non traceable certificate

to the petitioner.

2. Owing to an estranged relationship between the petitioner and her husband, 17 documents including academic certificates came to be lost in the house of her husband. In this connection the petitioner had given a complaint to the respondent police on 20.12.2016, 24.12.2016 & 03.01.2017. Though the respondent police made diligent efforts to trace the documents they were unable to trace it. Through a status report dated 12.07.2017, the third respondent herein had submitted that he has already directed to issue a non traceable certificate for which purpose he needs four weeks time and also submitted that the offer was accepted by the petitioner.

3. In the result the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to issue a non traceable certificate of the petitioner's 17 documents namely
