situate at Thiruvottirur Village, inclusive of solatium, interest on the reasonable compensation, interest on Solatium together with interest at the rate of 18 % p.a. on a total compensation and solatium from 12.06.2017 i.e., date of demolition of superstructure bearing No.4, Basin Salai, Thiruvottiyur, Chennai-19 to the pay to the petitioner at the earliest. This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to determine a fair and reasonable compensation in respect of the site and building of an extent of 700 sq.ft. at bearing Door No.4, Basin Salai, Tiruvottiyur, Chennai - 19 comprised in Survey No.154/1 and 154/2 situate at Thiruvottirur Village, inclusive of solatium, interest on the reasonable compensation, interest on Solatium together with interest at the rate of 18 % p.a. on a total compensation and solatium from 2/4

12.06.2017 i.e., date of demolition of superstructure bearing No.4, Basin Salai, Thiruvottiyur, Chennai-19 to pay to the petitioner at the earliest. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died long back.

Even then, the legal heirs did not take any step to substitute themselves on behalf of the deceased petitioner. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as abated. However, the legal heirs of the petitioner are at liberty to restore the writ petition by filing appropriate petition. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
