Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
2.It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that at the instance of the complaint given by one Arun Kumar, petitioner was called for enquiry.
He also submitted that admittedly, the vehicle viz., car belonging to the complainant was under hire purchase from the petitioner and the complainant has not paid due, the vehicle was taken by the petitioner who is a financier. He also submitted that as per the complaint lodged, complainant left the Labtop, licence certificate and cash in his car which were also taken by the petitioner. For that purpose, petitioner is required for conducting enquiry. He further submitted that a direction may be issued to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tiruvallur to conduct enquiry in this connection.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though petitioner appeared for enquiry on several occasions, only to harass him, the police is requiring the petitioner for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Considering the submissions made on either side, the petition is disposed of directing the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tiruvallur to issue summons to the petitioner to appear before him for enquiry in connection with the complaint given by Arun Kumar on 04.01.2015 and the first respondent is also directed to complete the enquiry without making the petitioner to wait for a long period. -s/d- Assistant Registrar(J) Dt:6/4/2015 True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar To
