O R D E R

The Criminal Original petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the second respondent to remove his name from the history sheet maintained by him in Rowdy H.S.526/2004.

2. According to the learned counsel, the petitioner is not involved in any adverse case against him. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for removal of his name in Rowdy History Sheet 526/2004 on the file of the Inspector of Police, B-4, Annathanapatty Police Station, Salem City.

3. Mrs.P.Kritikakamal, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) learned Government Advocate, an instructions, submitted that there are 13 cases pending as against the petitioner herein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. At this juncture, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if his representation seeking for removal of his name in the Rowdy History Sheet is considered on its own merits.

5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the first respondent seeking for such relief and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall consider the same, on its own merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of .
