..Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 1st respondent in connection with the impugned order of the 1st respondent dated 31.5.2018 in F.No.12012/20/2018-ME.I (FTS.3145790) served upon the petitioner college on 06.06.2018 at 4.06 p.m., through Email and quash the same and to direct the 1st respondent to renew the permission for admission of 4th batch against increased intake from 150-250 to the petitioner Medical College for the academic year 2018-19, in consideration of the MCI Assessors' Report dated 11.08.2017 and the recommendation of the 2nd respondent (MCI) dated 24.03.2018.

ORDER

Heard Mr.Venkatesh Mahadevan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.B.Rabu Manohar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.V.P.Raman, learned counsel for the second respondent.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 31.5.2018 of the first respondent - Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of India, in and by which, the renewal application of the petitioner-College, for admission of 4th batch against increased intake i.e., from 150 to 250 M.B.B.S seats, for the academic year 2018-19 came to be rejected.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order dated 09.07.2018, passed by the Supreme Court, the renewal application of the petitioner for admission of 4th batch against increased intake i.e., from 150 to 250 MBBS seats for the academic year 2018-19 for the petitioner's college has been granted. The order of the Under Secretary to the Government of India, dated 17.7.2018, has been placed for perusal of this Court.

4. Considering the above facts, this Court is of the opinion that no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
