The prayer sought for in the present petition is to transfer the case S.C.No.210 of 2013 in Crime No.540 of 212 pending on the file of the Mahila Court, Tiruvallur.

2. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate that the trial has commenced and out of 13 witnesses, 9 witnesses have already been examined as on 15.12.2017. At this stage, it would not be appropriate to direct to transfer the proceedings and it is always open to the petitioner to elucidate the facts and grounds raised in criminal original petition at the time of trial.

3. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
