ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent police to collect the CCTV Footage immediately and also take appropriate actions against the said accused in accordance with law.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor took time to take instructions in this case and he submitted that the CCTV Footage running to nearly 12 hours has already been recorded in the Compact Disc, this will be filed as a document along with the final report.

3. The petitioner is the defacto complainant, who had approached this Court on the ground that the respondent police have not collected the CCTV Footage, which clearly reveals the manner, in which the accident took place.

4. In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.110 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2019. In the course of investigation, it is always open to the respondent police, to call upon the petitioner, to view the CCTV Footage, in order to take the assistance of the petitioner in identifying the deceased and the vehicle driven by the deceased.

5. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
