Sivaraman, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. This is a petition filed by the petitioner seeking to condone the delay of 613 days in representing the appeal.

3. We find that sufficient cause has not been shown to condone the delay. However, we do not want to non suit the petitioner on technicalities and are inclined condone the delay, however, on terms.

4. Accordingly, the delay is condoned and this petition is ordered subject to payment of a sum of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees two thousand only) to the Advocate Clerks Association of the Madras High Court within two weeks from today.
