By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 18.01.2024 for issuance of patta in his name in respect of his property comprised in T.S.No.4/4, measuring an extent of 3,525 sq.ft., situated at Thirumangalam Village, Aminjikarai Taluk, Chennai (previously Koyambedu Village, Egmore Nungambakkam Taluk).

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he made an online application before the respondent for issuance of patta for his property in T.S.No.4/4, measuring an extent of 3525 sq.ft., situated at Thirumangalam Village, Aminjikarai Taluk, Chennai (previously Koyambedu Village, Egmore Nungambakkam Taluk). However, the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 5.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 18.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
