ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus, to direct the respondent to grant pension benefits considering continuity of petitioner's service from the date of regularisation till his retirement, considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2021.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner signed a Settlement Agreement dated 31.07.2009 under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 as he had no option. Under these circumstances, the petitioner had also sent representation dated 02.03.2021 to the respondents. However, the aforesaid representation has not evoked any response from the respondents.

3. Considering the above, this Court is inclined to dispose this Writ Petition by directing the respondents to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2021 and dispose the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law and on merits.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
