This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case on the complaint dated 26.07.2016 given by the petitioner and to investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that with regard to the dispute between the petitioner and the opposite party, proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C. have been initiated in Crime No.954 of 2016 and the same is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruvallur.
