The first respondent has registered a case in Crime No.140 of 2014 as against the petitioners based on the complaint given by the second respondent. Pending investigation, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking to quash the complaint pending on the file of the first respondent Police. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed a final report and the same was taken on file in S.C.No.310 of 2016 on the file of the Principal Sessions Court, Villupuram. The learned Government Advocate would further submit that the case https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in S.C.No.310 of 2016 itself was disposed of on merits. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3.In view of the subsequent developments, nothing survives further for adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
