ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's long pending grievance by representation dated 12.01.2021 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 12.01.2021, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. counter affidavit filed by the second respondent, revealed that the eligibility criteria fixed by the Government for providing alternative site under the rehabilitation package are that the person should have been residing in the village at the time of enumeration and possess a valid proof of residence. Therefore, when the petitioner called upon the enquiry, the petitioner is directed to produce proof of his residence and other related documents.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
