O R D E R

Aggrieved over the Judgment and decree dated 21.12.1999 passed in O.S.No.229 of 1995 on the file of the Principal District Munsif, Kallakurichi, the plaintiff filed an appeal in A.S.No.105 of 2000 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Kallakurichi. The respondent/defendant in the appeal has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the lower Appellate Court to dispose of the appeal within a stipulated time. M. DURAISWAMY,J.,

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the appeal was filed in the year 2000, the lower Appellate Court has not disposed of the appeal yet. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of long pendency of the matter, the revision petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without going into the merits of the case, I direct the Subordinate Judge, Kallakurichi, to dispose of the appeal in A.S.No.105 of 2000, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
