V. Thangavel v. M. Jegannathan

These three petitions have been filed since the sole appellant V.Thangavel had died pending the appeal and they had been filed to condone the delay of 375 days in filing the petition to set aside abatement, to set aside abatement and to bring on record his legal representative T.Anandhan as the appellant to prosecute the appeal.
2.There is a connected Second Appeal in S.A.No.18 of 2009 wherein, T.Anandhan was already a respondent and consequent to the death of the appellant / V.Thangavel, he had been recognized as appellant to prosecute the appeal.
3.In view of the fact that there is no dispute about his status, these three petitions are allowed. The Registry to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title reflecting the death of the sole appellant, V.Thangavel, and bring on record his legal representative, T.Anandhan as the appellant. 13.06.2025 smv https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
