O R D E R

(This Case has been heard through Video Conferencing) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 353, 307, 506(2) of IPC R/w, Section 8(C), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act and Section 25(1B)(b), 25(1)(b) of ARMS Act in Crime No.15 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution, as per the defacto complainant is that on 14.01.2019 while the respondent police were in patrolling in the Putheri street, found that the petitioner along with another person were in possession of 1.900 Kgs of Ganja. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case since the police suspected that the petitioner is also the member of the rowdy Sundar gang. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is a notorious offender and that there are seven previous cases in which two cases are under Section 302 IPC and all these cases are pending trial. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the submissions made by the counsels and the fact that there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
