Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to disburse the payment of General Provident Fund, [GPF] Special Provident Fund, Encashment of Leave Salary and other eligible pensionary benefits to the petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2015 within a time to be stipulated by this Court. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner would state that he was appointed as Higher Grade Teacher on 12.10.1966 at Kottur Panchayat Union, Tiruvarur and got his promotion as a Secondary Grade Teacher on 18.03.1968 and he was removed from service during the year 1990 and though claims to have rendered 22 years of meritorious service, he has not been conferred with the benefits such as GPF, Special Provident Fund, Encashment of Earned Leave and other pensionary benefits. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 25.06.2015 and since no orders have been passed, he came forward to file this writ petition. 3.
This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.
Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
