PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the XIII Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.23 of 2015 within the stipulated period of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.23 of 2015 before the XIII Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai. The learned trial Judge took up the matter for evidence. The matter is now posted for the evidence of the respondent, who is the defendant in O.S.No.23 of 2015. The petitioner seeks an order, directing the learned trial Judge to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned XIII Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.23 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 31.3.2017.

4. The Civil Revision Petition is allowed as indicated above. No costs.
