Respondents Prayer: This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to extend the benefits of the G.O.(2D) No.7, School Education Department, dated 23.02.2012 and G.O.(2D) No.158, School Education Department, dated 13.11.2015 and G.O.(2D) No.3 to 6, School Education Department, dated 11.02.2012, to fix the regular

time scale of pay of the petitioners in the cadre of Vocational Instructor Grade-I with effect from 20.09.1996, without monetary benefits to the petitioners, in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.19686 of 2014, in order dated on 25.02.2015 and W.P.No.32391 and 32394 of 2014, dated 05.07.2018, within a time limit.

(The case has been heard through video conference) By consent of the learned counsel on either side, this writ petitions is taken up for final disposal and is disposed of by means of this order.

2. Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to extend the benefits of the G.O.(2D) No.7, School Education Department, dated 23.02.2012 and G.O.(2D) No.158, School Education Department, dated 13.11.2015 and G.O.(2D) Nos.3 to 6, School Education Department, dated 11.02.2012, and fix the regular time scale of pay of the petitioners in the cadre of Vocational Instructor Grade-I with effect from 20.09.1996, without monetary benefits to the petitioners, in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.19686 of 2014, dated 25.02.2015 and W.P.Nos.32391 to 32394 of 2014, dated 05.07.2018, within a time frame.

4. This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before it.

5. Though the prayer in this writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his argument to the limited extent of directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.01.2021, expeditiously.

6. This Court considering the limited prayer now sought

for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.01.2021, in the light of the orders passed by this Court cited supra and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
