This petition has been filed to call for the records of the 1st Respondent herein, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate-cum-SubCollector, Mayiladuthurai in his proceedings in MC No.213/2013/A1 dated 26/10/2013 and quash his order dated 26.10.2013.

The petitioner filed this petition to challenge the order issued against him under Section 145(1) of Cr.P.C. The said order was issued in the month of October, 2013. The period for the proceedings under Section 145(1) of Cr.P.C is only for one year. Now, almost five years have been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructous. 3.
